How it began

The Reigate Soap
Company story.

The Reigate Soap Company started with a simple idea: young people can make a real difference. We are a pair of young teenagers who wanted to start a business that actually helps the planet. Instead of just talking about environmental problems, we decided to do something practical. That is how our soap company began.

Starting a business at our age has not been easy. We have had suppliers not reply to us, companies that did not take us seriously, and the challenge of running a business while still being in school. Because we are students, it can even be difficult just finding time to meet and work on ideas together.

But those challenges made us more determined.

We created The Reigate Soap Company to make something simple that people use every day — soap — and turn it into something that helps the environment. For every bottle sold, 1kg of waste is removed from the ocean.

So when you buy our soap, you are not just washing your hands. You are helping clean the sea and supporting young entrepreneurs who believe small actions can create big change.

We deliver within Reigate, Surrey only. Because we deliver by bike, we can only cover local addresses. If you are unsure whether we can reach your street, just email us and we will let you know.

You can either email us at reigatesoapco@gmail.com with your address, scent preference, and preferred delivery frequency, or use one of our online payment links to buy directly. We will then be in touch to arrange your first delivery.

Your starter bottle costs £10 and includes the glass bottle and your first full refill free. After that, each refill is £5, paid in person when we arrive. There are no hidden fees or extra charges.

When it is time for your refill, we cycle to your door, collect your bottle, and leave a freshly cleaned and refilled one in its place. You never have to go anywhere or do anything. We refill your bottle even if it is not completely empty, so you never run out.

You can choose how often you would like deliveries, whichever suits your household best. You can change your frequency at any time by emailing us.

For your starter bottle you can pay online using our SumUp payment links, or pay in person when we deliver. For ongoing refills, payment is collected in person on delivery. We do not store any card details.

We currently offer two scents: Fig Leaf, which is fresh and earthy, and Forest, which is deep, woody and calming. You can switch scent at any time by letting us know when you next order.

Yes, absolutely. Just email us and we can pause or cancel your deliveries at any time. There are no cancellation fees.
